Quick Fix #4 – Improve Your Internet Connection for the Abraham LIVE Broadcast

If you have checked your Internet Speed, updated your Adobe Flash, changed your browser, and you are still experiencing challenges with the test streaming video, use Quick Fix #4 to improve your Internet connection.

Quick Fix #4 – Improve your Internet Connection Are you using a wireless connection or a wired connection when viewing the test or sample streaming video? If you’re using a wireless connection, the wireless signal may be fluctuating too much to transmit streaming video smoothly.

The easy fix for this is to connect your computer directly to your Internet router with an ethernet cord instead of using a wireless connection. (If you do not have an ethernet cord, you can get an inexpensive one any place where consumer electronics are sold.)

After you have connected your computer to your router using an ethernet wire, reboot your computer (turn off the computer completely and then back on), and watch the test video again.

If the audio and video are now running well, stop tweaking! If you have completely completed all four Quick Fix steps and you are still having challenges with stuttering, stopping and starting, or other streaming issues, there are two additional things you can do:

1) Contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance and suggestions.

2) Wait until the day of the broadcast to see if your issue resolves itself.
